A leading UK Pensions Consultancy who manages and provides complex advice to some of UK’s largest Pension schemes are looking to recruit technically minded individuals to join their growing Technical Analytical Team. This specialist team provides support to the Pensions Administration teams installing, data migrating and project managing new clients onto the automation and pension administration systems.
This role would suit individuals who have strong pensions administration & calculations knowledge who have experience of or an interest in developing IT skills. There is a particular emphasis on the need for strong excel skills, but Visual Basic and SQL would be useful as programming & coding will form part of the role. (Extensive IT & systems training will be provided for more junior joiners)
Specifics of the role will include
- Install new DB & DC schemes onto the administration system. Take ownership for data installation and ensure automation processes are ready for the Pensions Administration teams.
- Conduct analysis of data sets / map data onto the administration system / conduct system testing a
- Create specific scheme calculation specifications for automation and conduct testing.
- Attend Project meetings, agree and mange installation projects to specific timescales.
- When need provide technical support to the new business team producing tender documents. You may need to present and develop data calculation & automation information for prospective new clients.
- Support existing clients with the installation of new automation, updating systems and addressing any problems or glitches.
- Consult on existing client set ups and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with administration, new business and client relationship management teams ensuring effective communication lines are maintained.
- Become involved in wider business change projects and internal business reviews.
