Specifics of the role include –
- Help clients achieve objectives by demonstrating and explaining complex actuarial models and calculations.
- Provide comprehensive written advice on a wide variety of DB & DC scheme areas. Draft documents and reports.
- Deliver advice in client meetings in a clear jargon free manner which is easy to understand.
- Work closely with and develop strong relationships with all parts of the business including pensions administration, investment management and consultancy.
- Work closely with clients on bespoke project areas such as benefit design, scheme mergers, buying out benefits and wind up.
- Improve your personal development by taking up the option to specialise in areas which interest you, research and develop a comprehensive knowledge.
- Review or progress towards reviewing colleagues’ work.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives towards the success of the team.
- Take the opportunity to study IFoA exams and other personal development exams with mentoring if desired.
